Chopping Corn for Silage Rules

• If you will chop more than 50% of a unit, you must notify Auburn Agency prior to chopping for an appraisal by an adjuster
• If you will chop less than 50% of a unit, we are allowed to pro-rate the production from the acres you harvested across all acres planted
• Only an adjuster can approve chopping for more than 50% of a unit

Please Note:  Report chopping corn to your Agent BEFORE taking action.
